The Associate Registrar of Academic Records & Course Management reports to the Director of Academic Records & Registrar and provides support to the Director in many areas including, but not limited to, student academic records, registration, graduation clearance, transcript production, student information
systems, course offerings, and classroom administration.

Oversees the University’s compliance with NCAA, ACC and institutional rules.

Provide leadership and direction for a team of five, including the Course Administration Specialist, OpScan & Academic Services Analyst, Academic Progress & Records Specialist, Academic Records Specialist, and Academic Records & Certification Analyst and student employees.

Supervise the maintenance of the academic records of over 14,000 active students, a digital archive of 300,000 inactive records, the completion of degree requirements for 4,000 graduate and undergraduate students, and the production of 50,000 transcripts annually.

Assist with the coordination of the registration of over 14,000 students.

Direct the annual development of up to 10,000 course offerings and the scheduling of
140 classrooms.

Direct cross-registration activities including registration and grading. Serve as the liaison with the Boston Consortium and the Boston Theological Institute.

Interact with associate academic deans and other University administrators to develop, interpret, enforce, and approve exceptions to academic policy and procedure.

Ensure the team is enforcing the University’s policies and federal/state regulations, including Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Monitor best practices and new technologies in academic services at competitive institutions. Incorporate new processes, rules, and regulations into planning for the division. Recommend and participate in the development of policy, procedure, and priorities for the Academic Services division.

Work on the student information system(s) including developing requirements, prioritizing, testing, and system integration. Experience with document management a plus.

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Five to seven years of progressive leadership and

supervision in a University registrar's office
