Systems Manager for Student Academic Records


The Office of the Registrar at Middlebury is in search of an experienced academic records professional with advanced data management skills to join our team.  The Systems Manager for Student Academic Records is the lead data administrator responsible for providing access to and sustaining the integrity of student academic data in support of critical operations and regulatory requirements for the Institution, the Office of the Registrar, and academic departments.

Serving as the department’s lead technical and reporting analyst, the successful candidate will develop data queries and reports to support ad-hoc and long-term departmental and operational needs.  The position is charged with regularly maintaining the integrity of student academic records through oversight of day-to-day data operations as well as systems upgrades and updates to the student information system (Banner).  Responsibilities also include the design, implementation, and maintenance of DegreeWorks, Middlebury’s degree audit software.

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s or post graduate degree or equivalent work experience preferred. 10 or more years in higher education, preferably in a Registrar’s Office, required with 7 or more years of direct experience using and maintaining complex information systems.
