Berkeley, CA (US)
Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology
Oct 27, 2017 (Expired Remaining)

The Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology offers graduate degrees in philosophy and theology. Following its mission as a Center of Studies of the Dominican Order, DSPT emphasizes the relationship between these two disciplines and is the only graduate institution in the U.S. to offer students the opportunity to integrate them in a concurrent MA option. We are a small Catholic graduate school with an enrollment of less than one-hundred students and we are committed to expanding our program offerings. The position of Registrar is ideal for someone who wishes to bring an innovative spirit to this endeavor.

DSPT is flexible in considering this as a full-time or part-time position.  As a small school the position of Registrar could be managed part-time; however, the role can also be expanded to full-time by adding student services responsibilities.

Reporting to the Academic Dean, the Registrar coordinates and executes the activities of the Registrar's Office required for the registration of students and maintenance of student records; manages the student record database, distributes all formal academic information and records, and ensures the security and integrity of academic records.  The Registrar also provides information for federal and accreditation agencies.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is required with a minimum of 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities of this position. Prior work in a professional school Registrar’s Office preferred.

Applicants are requested to email a résumé and thoughtful cover letter to, outlining how your skills and experience meet the qualifications of the position and stating how you heard about this opportunity.

Review of applications will begin October 1, 2017 and will continue until the position is filled.
