The Associate Director is responsible for developing and executing communications in accordance with the Admissions Office and overall College strategic planning processes. This role provides direct supervision and leadership of a team of Enrollment Counselors who are focused on supporting prospective students from acceptance through matriculation. The position assists the Executive Director with strategic planning initiatives, admissions reporting, and the overall development and execution of admission services for prospective students and their supporters. Will manage an international student caseload. Must be flexible concerning working hours as the position requires out-of-town trips, late night work, occasional overnight trips, and weekends/evenings. Passport for international travel required.

For additional information, click here. Based on minimum education and experience qualifications the yearly salary range is $80,000 – $90,000.

Minimum education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in college admissions or enrollment Management.

Minimum abilities and skills:

  • Strong supervisory/administrative experience.
  • Ability to motivate staff in a changing environment.
  • Analytical abilities sufficient to handle administrative details.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to plan and organize many activities of varying complexity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and exercise independent judgment in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Solid technical skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of/experience with data processing and automated records maintenance systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.
  • Evidence of a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to conduct admissions activities with the highest level of integrity.
  • Possession of valid driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, preferably Slate.
