The Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Events, assumes primary responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation, management, oversight and administration of the University’s comprehensive Welcome Center, Tour Operations, and Connections Special Admit Program. The Director provides leadership and supervision to the Welcome Center and the Main Admissions Desk. This includes supervision of staff, planning of events related to staff members responsibilities and the daily information sessions associated to the campus tour program.
The Director provides supervision and oversight to the University’s comprehensive campus tour program that engages over 20,000 guests to campus each year. This includes the VIP tour program proving in-depth campus experiences for prospective students.
The Director provides vision and supervision for on- and off-campus events, including orientation, receptions, counselor briefings, and other special programs. This includes ensuring that innovation and engagement are consistently considered, in order to ensure that strategic enrollment goals are met.
The Director of Admissions plans and implements programming for high school guidance counselors such as the High School Advisory Board and the Out-of-State High School Guidance Counselors Fly-In. Serves as the Admissions liaison with registered student organizations that support recruiting initiatives or have an interest in assisting with recruiting. Works with the Alumni Association on supporting their recruiting initiatives and provides support to other outreach initiatives as they develop.Job Traveling : 0-20%
