Oversee business process analysis and work with Information Technology Services on system needs and enhancements to meet college and student service requirements. Manage data accuracy through the use of report writing tools and creating and running exception reports to meet University and Government statistical reporting requirements. Provide data and administration of system jobs to support critical processes for the registration area. Provide business process analysis for other registrar areas to support student and academic services. Oversee and collaborate with colleagues on the implementation of new systems and processes that result from analysis including pilot development and testing. Meet with outside offices who work closely with the Registrar’s Office to document their needs and evaluate the communication structure and implement changes to increase effectiveness

Work collaboratively with Academic and Administrative personnel internally and externally to develop training programs for new staff, and for new processes and systems. Develop training materials and documentation for processes and systems. Support major events such as Commencement and orientations. Manage the accuracy of student data from Admissions through graduation. Work with colleagues to ensure data integrity. Manage reporting needs for the registration area and train other managers in reporting techniques. Supervise staff.

Master’s degree required. Minimum of 6 years’ experience, preferably in Higher Education Registrar area. Knowledge of both the technical and operational aspects of systems used by the Office of the Registrar. Knowledge of data manipulation tools, reporting, and data integrity required.

Knowledge of college registrar’s operations with an understanding of the registrar’s relationship to the university community. Possess working knowledge of the Banner student system and its processing methods relevant to student records and registration. Knowledge and understanding of integrated student systems for admissions, financial aid, billing, and other systems that support student service. Knowledge and various reporting tools, report writing, data analysis and data integrity. Knowledge of training fundamentals and development of training materials and process documentation. Demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills. Must understand requirements of employment within an office that deals with sensitive and protected materials and acknowledge by signing a code of conduct document that sets clear guidelines for behavior within the Office of the Registrar.
